This 10-12 week IT Business Analyst (BA) program provides a comprehensive and hands-on curriculum designed to equip aspiring BAs with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an AI-driven business landscape. The program emphasises practical application and real-world collaboration, moving beyond traditional BA methodologies to integrate AI tools and agentic workflows. Key learning areas include: - Understanding and Leveraging AI Tools: Students gain proficiency in prompt engineering, AI ethics, and data interpretation, focusing on tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, v0.app, and GitHub Copilot for various BA tasks. - AI Agent Applications: The program explores the transformative impact of AI agents, notably Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based agents, across critical enterprise functions like Finance, Procurement, and Legal. Students analyse practical use cases and propose integration strategies for advanced voice AI and telephony systems. - AI-Assisted Development Workflows: Participants learn to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, utilising AI tools to streamline design document creation, generate code, and facilitate cloud deployment. - Prototyping and User Feedback: The curriculum incorporates rapid prototyping using low-code/no-code tools and emphasises the importance of formal user interviews to gather and analyse feedback for iterative solution refinement. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Students engage with business and technical stakeholders, practising effective communication, feedback capture, and the development of a solution roadmap. The program culminates in a comprehensive final report and group presentation, where students showcase their developed prototypes, digital CVs, and other artifacts, demonstrating their holistic understanding of the evolving BA role and their ability to drive digital engagement with AI.
